Before enjoying the Driven for Kids Car Show. On August 1, 2026, from 9 am to 10 am we invite parents, guardians, and families to bring their children to participate in our Youth Firearms Safety Education and Mental Health Awareness Program. This special session is designed to provide age-appropriate education on firearm safety, responsible decision-making, conflict resolution, and the importance of seeking help when facing emotional or mental health challenges.

Children and teens today face many pressures, and providing them with the knowledge and resources to make safe choices can have a lasting impact on their future. Our mental health awareness portion will focus on recognizing emotions, building resilience, encouraging open communication, and helping young people understand that asking for support is a sign of strength. Families will also receive information about local resources and support services available within the community.

The firearms safety education portion will emphasize respect for firearms, safe behavior around firearms, and what children should do if they encounter an unsecured firearm. The program is intended to promote safety, awareness, and responsible habits through education and prevention. We encourage families to arrive early, participate in these important discussions, and then enjoy a day of amazing vehicles, community engagement, and family-friendly fun at the Driven for Kids Car Show. Together, we can help build a safer, healthier future for our children and our community.

Whether you own a classic car, muscle car, truck, motorcycle, exotic vehicle, or custom build, we invite you to showcase your ride while supporting important programs that help children and families throughout our community. Every vehicle entered helps raise awareness and support for initiatives focused on creating brighter and safer futures for young people.
